Assistant Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies

Description: The Assistant Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies is expected to teach, full-time (minimum of 9 credit hours per semester), undergraduate level courses in biblical literature, hermeneutics and systematic theology.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Masters level education in pertinent field (MDiv, MA Biblical Literature, ThM, MRS, etc.) required, terminal post-graduate degree in pertinent field highly preferred (DMin, PhD, ThD)
  • Cross-Cultural Ministry ministry experience highly preferred
  • Fluency in Haitian Creole highly preferred but not required

Location: EBS Campus in Cap-Haitian, Haiti


Resident Missionary Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies

Description: The Resident Missionary Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies is expected to teach, full-time (minimum of 9 credit hours per semester), undergraduate (and potentially graduate-level) courses in biblical literature, hermeneutics and systematic theology.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Masters level education in pertinent field (MDiv, MA Biblical Literature, ThM, MRS, etc.) required, terminal post-graduate degree in pertinent field highly preferred (DMin, PhD, ThD)
  • Cross-Cultural Ministry ministry experience highly preferred

Social Media Marketing Specialist

Description: The SMMS will work alongside the Marketing Director in designing, developing and maintaining donor relations systems primarily through social media marketing development and management. Social media marketing and development and management includes developing and maintaining social media marketing resources for EBS. This includes EBS website and Facebook page development, design and management as well as international network development within OMS and with other groups and individuals. Full-time highly preferred, part-time acceptable.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing.
  • Formal training and experience with web design and management.
  • Expert-level facility with Facebook, Twitter and other social media marketing programs and websites.

Grant Researcher and Writer

Description: Being a grant researcher means researching government, foundation and corporate grants, establishing and maintaining working relationships with grant funders and coming up with compelling narratives for funding applications and reports.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or have worked in related discipline with a minimum of three years of related experience and a proven track record in a grant writing and program development. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be collaboratively and independently to achieve states goals.

Provost

Description: Chief Executive Academic Officer. Provide leadership and oversight for existing programs.

Qualifications: Post-graduate terminal degree highly preferred.
